It’s such an honor to be here with you today, January, so forth like an energy and that’s what I love about you.

01:12

Oh, thank you. Thank you so much. And I’m excited to bring my liveliness here today.

01:18

Okay, during this time, I have a very simple icebreaker so we can all get to know you a little bit better. Who is Jen hope when she isn’t working?

01:26

Who is Jan who is when she isn’t working? Well, the fascinating thing is, I feel like Jan whoa with blends into working and non working pretty magically because part of my work well, my work is what I basically bring to this world, which is joy. But who Jan hoath is I guess when she’s not working as I’m a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a community member, you know, a big heart and a beacon of light in this world here, walking around with the mission to spread joy really whether it’s professionally or not.

02:07

You know, genda is exactly why I always enjoy speaking with you your energy and your positivity is always something that I can feel. Now, Jen, let’s dive right in. I know you were previously a ski instructor with over a decade’s worth of experience teaching. But what I would love for you to share is how you started your coaching business. And what led you down this path?

02:24

Oh, here’s a really great question. So yes, as a professional ski instructor I loved and adored Well, look, I’ve always been passionate about people, obviously. That’s why we connected so well. And, you know, on the slopes as a ski instructor, professional ski instructor and Aspen at the time, you know, I was passing the passion of skiing on to people. And then when I realized that there was a possibility to pass the passion of life on to people. I knew that that was my career calling. But the truth is, is I was, you know, kind of timid and wasn’t sure if I was ready to start my business, which I’m sure a lot of people can relate to you. Like, you know, you have a calling. And yet, oh my gosh, what do I do? And then, you know, unfortunately, we had a tragic experience. That was the catalyst to me starting my business and what it was if I can just share briefly It was so I’m married to this amazing Australian man and I love my in laws and my allows her over traveling, visiting us over from Australia. And we were staying with my folks at the time in the Florida Keys. And we let them go out on a little bike ride. And unfortunately, about an hour later, we got that tragic phone call, you know, the the dreaded phone call. And she was Australian. So she looked the wrong way when she went across the street. And she was struck hold you I’m sorry to hear. Yeah, thank you. She was struck and killed immediately. And it was so dramatic. At the time that it was like, Oh my gosh, you know, so fast. She had just recently gone into retirement. And all I could think was how much I regretted letting her go for the bike ride. You know, there was just so much regret in the air, about the whole situation we had so much you know to do together and she had so much life to live and that’s when I really woke up to the realization that I don’t want to live in regret. You know, I don’t want to regret not having started my coaching business which I knew was my calling. And you know, seeing this beautiful woman who wasn’t you know, a coach per se but she was a kindergarten teacher and she had such a beautiful positive influence on people organically. And just realizing, oh my gosh, I need to formally share this message with people to go out and create your best life and be your best self in honor all of you in your joy. I can’t wait on this anymore. And so that really was the catalyst of like okay Jen get out there and it was as if, like her spirit while I would say it Her spirit stays with me. But it was like she was like kicking me in the pants saying you got to go. And let people know that whatever is on your heart and, and on your mind, it’s you’ve got to pursue that. And that’s where, essentially, I know, we’ll get into it at some point. But that’s where I really identified with an aspect of my framework that I teach through, which is progress, honoring your purpose in this world, which can be multi fold. I mean, that’s a whole other conversation. But purpose can be professional, personal, both

05:31

all of it. So Jen, of course, thank you for sharing this story. I’m sure it was not easy for you, your husband and the rest of your family during that period of time. So Jen, I know you’re an expert as well, when it comes to helping individuals achieve better results by being more mindful of themselves. And based on our previous conversations, I know your philosophies to lead with the Could you share with us some more of these tools that you’ve developed over the years that have helped your clients?

05:57

Absolutely, because it, it’s quite honestly, Ted, it’s the secret sauce. And it’s a it’s a superpower joy is because the idea of leading with play? Well, I define play as joy in motion, and it’s without an agenda. You know, when you go to sit down at your computer to write, you know, or, or go to work, you know, you have an agenda. But the idea of leading with play is about tuning into an aspect of joy of whatever that is for someone. And play, I really define it very loosely, it can be childlike, because I know a lot of people relate to play and think about it that way. But more and more research is showing that the play focus does assist in evoking an aspect of our brain that promotes creativity, problem solving abilities, and all sorts of really valuable aspects that beyond that, what I know is when I lead with play, I feel better. But what’s really powerful though, is the play puts me in that joy perspective. And that’s what I teach my clients to do. Because when you’re in play, when you tap into joy, first thing, then you are in a level of consciousness, that is one below enlightenment and peace, which means essentially, you are more powerful, you’re productive, you’re effective, you’re efficient, you’re creative, and you’re attractive to people, places, things that you desire, and you require I get

07:34

it, the importance of play is that it puts us in the right state of mind to tackle the difficult challenges to hit

07:39

yes, well, and ultimately, it puts you in a clear state of thought. I mean, I identified and I connected with the idea of play, which is another aspect of my happiness prism, which is my, you know, method that I teach through and live by. But there were Pinnacle moments in my life where I recognized that it was actually play that was going to get me out of really challenging situations, it’s actually that play energy that I end up connecting with most of my clients that it’s not necessarily I was on an agenda to sign a client, but I’m out on the ski slopes, and I assign a, you know, high level client that is thrilled to work with me, because I’m in an energy that she wants to be a part of, yes, I can do it in energy. So that’s what I teach my clients to do. Because so much, especially of, you know, our modern world and society, it’s like, we got to get the work done, then we get to play well, we are really blessed to live at a time in our lives, where, you know, you’re still gonna have food on the table, like you’re still going to be able to have a bed to sleep in. Most of us look at there are a lot of people in the world that that are also struggling with that. But even then, you can still find a moment to spend two minutes tuning into something that brings you joy, whether it’s a cup of coffee, and just savoring the flavor, or whether it’s turning out a favorite song or even just drumming out a favorite tune. It doesn’t have to take much, or be much to tap into play and lead with play and to tap into your joy first thing. And that’s what I teach all my clients to do, as they’re building businesses, as they’re building out their communities and as their, you know, creating even their loving life at home. bringing joy and play to every aspect of your life shifts everything and absolutely puts you in a state of availability to really be your best self.

09:38

So guys, as Jen has shared your state of mind has a huge impact on not only your ability to face challenges, but how people perceive you and maybe want to work with you as well as entrepreneurs. I think sometimes we just don’t put enough emphasis on our mental well being but whether you like it or not, it will have an impact on your ability to perform and the results that you can achieve. So as Janice shared, maybe just take some time to play Put yourself in a better state of mind so you can achieve your best. Now back to you, Jen, what comes up to play? Could you share this with us?

10:07

I love that you asked because that is the next side of the happiness prism, it’s peace. It’s not that we jump into progress. And look, I actually figured this out the hard way. And I think a lot of people do, I used to think play in progress were all that I needed. But then, when I realized at a very another challenging moment of my life, I realized I couldn’t think my way out of the situation. At the time, it was a cancer scare with my then six weeks old, old son, we had a two year old at home with my husband. And we had ultimately started out the day as a normal day. And by the end of the evening, I was in the cancer wing of the children’s hospital with my son alone, because my husband and daughter couldn’t stay with us. And there we were, with this cancer scare. And up until then, I had been a life coach or executive coach or leadership coach, all these versions of coaching. But it was sitting in that room in the dark, and I was thinking, Oh, my gosh, I can’t coach my way out of this, I can’t think my way out of this, I can’t create a new thought that is going to shift that and up until then my personal growth and development was a lot around ontology and the thought process. And this is where I truly sat in the in the darkness through my tears, and I looked up and I asked for help. And I realized that I required to tune into something more than me. And you know, non religious here, like accessing an aspect that we all have access to. But some people call it God universe, spirit, higher self, whatever that is, I think, you know, we can all agree at some level, there’s something more happening than just within ourselves. And that in that moment in the hospital room, that’s when I first open up to that realization. And then I progressively while I was in the hospital, I honored the happiness prism throughout my time there. Because I realized that I needed play, which was another story that I have about being in the hospital and which the next morning after that moment of kind of surrender, Walmart kind of as a total surrender. But surrenders is something else, that I woke up to tears and devastation and so much fear and panic around. What do I do with this son who’s counting on me, he’s, he’s a baby, like, he needs me to be my best self. Well, that morning, I could order off the children’s menu because I was at the Children’s Hospital. And here, I’m a breastfeeding mom. And I didn’t have any access to food at that point. And I realized to my tears, I could order Froot Loops, and I thought Froot Loops like that colorful, sugary children’s cereal, and thought and it was like, Oh, my gosh, and the first thought is, I can’t eat Froot Loops. It’s not nutritional to my body and his body. But then a larger, louder voice came through and said, in a deeper voice, and it was like, you are going to eat those Froot Loops, because you need soul nourishment here. And I ate the fruit loops. And that was ultimately, like play. For me. It was a joyful moment, and a very, very dark time for me, in which I got to tune into a greater space of possibility. Because I was enjoy even for a little bit in between the tears, eating this colorful, sugary cereal, which I don’t frankly, eat any more anything like that. And yet, I honored play. But then after that, even in the hotel or hotel hospital room, I paused and tuned into and really reflected upon and you know, whether it’s meditation or just quiet breaths, or prayer for some, whatever you want to call just tuning into a quiet space. I continued to ask for help and guidance that I continued to say, I’m giving this up. But I’m committed to his story not ending this way that he gets out of here, we get out of the year, and we will move on. And so pieces the next aspect of the prison, and while we were in hospital, what we did and what I did with my son is I moved into this place of peace. And then from there, I was able to make the tough decisions and progress and have the conversations with the doctors that I needed to have, not from a space of despair, but from a space of grounded clarity, and leadership and advocacy. That even in this darkest moment, I tune into play. I tune into peace. And then I could progress in answer and honor the tough decisions that I had to make including like we needed To

15:02

decide whether or not you would have a blood transfusion, and that was so hard for me to think I just gave birth to this baby six weeks ago with my own blood, and we’re going to put someone else’s blood. And ultimately we did, because that’s what was needed. But I was only able to make that tough decision and follow through with it with confidence, because I honored this process. And ultimately, after 12 days, we did get out of the hospital with a pat on the back that we think he is going to be okay. And we believe he’s a medical mystery and a medical miracle, we never got a medical diagnosis. And they did monitor him. And about a year later is his one year birthday, actually, they said, We do not need to see this child again. Wow, congrats. And he is a true medical miracle. It’s as if nothing ever happened. And I really attest this to this process that I was inside of, and look I co created with him, I co created with the universe, however you want to speak to that. But what I ultimately created was, well, we allowed a miracle, because I got myself into a state of being of availability for it. And this process is what I repeat every day. It’s what I repeat inside of my business. It’s what I teach inside of my business and what I I shared every situation I can share, because what I’ve realized time and again, and it never ceases to blow me away. how powerful this is. And it’s so simple. Take some time to be in your joy in play, take some time to just pause and reflect. And then decide what is the best next step. Because a lot of times, when we get into the frenetic energy of doing, we miss the nuances of maybe there’s one action I can take, that takes care of like the big Domino if you’ve ever read the big one. But that can knock out all the other actions, or to have the clarity to say, Hey, I’m gonna take care of this aspect. And then I can delegate the rest. And especially as a business owner, especially as an entrepreneur, you need to be able to discern, what are my most powerful actions to take that are going to move the needle forward, because we don’t have all day to honor progress. We don’t have all day and we don’t want to take all day. Yes, we all only have 24 hours. But here’s the magic of this process, you can actually bend time, I have found in my clients are constantly telling me, I can’t believe how much I got done today. And I still had time to get on the floor and play Legos with my kids. And that’s the most magical moment for me when I hear that from my clients of just how happy they are, how joyful they are, because they’re getting to be the and they’re getting to be all of who they are. All the roles they they signed up for whether they realize it or not when they came into this life, that it’s like we’re more than just what we do.

18:13

So Jen, you just shared your system is based on Play piece, and then progress. Could you share with us how you apply these principles to your own business on a day to day basis?

18:23

Absolutely well, and this is part of what I teach in my programs. But in the simplest term, the happiness prism is a thought it is an idea. And it’s a concept that it’s an experience. But it’s also an intention setting process that I do do in my journal every single day, where it’s a flat image, 2d version of a triangle. And what I do is inside of my business I look at Well, what actions Am I going to take in play today? What actions Am I going to take MPs today? What actions Am I going to take in progress today that are going to move things forward inside of my business. And so sometimes play can be and I have to say like coming on a podcast with you today. This is play to be what is beautiful is it takes so many boxes though, because I get to tune in even further as I’m sharing more of my message. But I also get to progress as well. So this is a space where I actually get to be honoring all of the happiness prism as far as I’m concerned. But how the the play a piece inside of business can be you know, have a cup of coffee while you’re journaling or turn on some fun music while you’re checking your Facebook or do something in an essence that can be still inside of the business. But it doesn’t have to be you know anything other than making sure you’re tuning into your joy. First, and then the second piece of piece is sometimes just taking a couple breaths. And I do meditate, and I do teach meditation. But taking that time to even visualize at the end of the day, what does it feel like? Having experienced my day, and utilizing peace to help create my day from a more grounded and even a higher level of consciousness space? And then progress getting clear? What are those 123 most major powerful actions I can take today that are going to move things forward? And what are the ones that I can move into other parts of my week. So it’s absolutely a powerful intention setting process. And then I do ultimately create a statement about how I intend for my day to go, that we are so powerful creators, that when we actually put intention to it, we can say, Hey, I’m gonna have an amazing day, having connection, having impact, having influence, and forwarding my mission and my message, and what I’m, you know, here to create the world through my business.

21:08

So Jen, if an entrepreneur wants to apply this system to their day to day, do you have any tips on how they can stay accountable or on track?

21:15

Great question. Essentially, the happiness prism. intention setting process is a fantastic way to start the day, but then also to end the day to go back and review. How did I show up inside of my prism? You know, how did I show up and play? Where can I tweak that, because you know, whether entrepreneur right now we’ve got the Olympics going on, or an athlete, like there’s always room to expand, to grow, to tweak, to refine, to become better. And again, the happiness prism intention is for you to be the best version of yourself in your joy. And so to be able to go back and review at the end of the day, and then refine, what might I do differently tomorrow.

21:57

So guys, if you’re thinking of applying the system of play peace and progress to your day to day, make sure you still try to stay accountable yourself, then you can see progress. So take stone on what you want to do with this study. And then check out what you’ve done at the end of day and fine tune this process. Now, back to you, Jen, let’s talk a little bit about the business that you started. When you first started your coaching business. How do you secure your earlier clients?

22:19

Absolutely. Well, first and foremost, I mean, I had to declare that this was my business, I had to claim it for myself within myself, because you could have the paperwork done and you can have, you know, the certificate and everything. But until you personally claim it, that was essentially the first step like really, when I declared it within myself, because I knew I was going to do it, right. And then when we had that tragedy with my mother in law, so really, step one is, is declaring it within yourself. And then step two is going and sharing with people sharing with people in my life. And I did start out very simply with inviting some, you know, friends and extended colleagues at the time to offer either a low rate or even free because I wanted to practice my skills and see what the results were. And so I did start to practice in that manner. And then I started more and more offering fees. But for the large part early on my business I built word of mouth. And just like I started to say earlier about receiving a very high level client on the slopes, I found that me being myself and obviously my messages joy and being in my embodiment of my message, I would be out at the pool with my kids and someone be like, wow, you know, I love you know, how you were being with your kids and who you’re being and and then we would organically get in conversation and then I would share that I do offer this as a business. So my invitation to anyone listening who’s just starting out is be your brand be your message. Because no one else can be that but you you know and everyone has, you know, we have we can sometimes have similar desires and even similar stories and we can see each other and in each other’s selves but the the vision, the desire, the business idea that that anyone listening might have is unique in its own right. There may be overlap for sure with other people, but there’s no one I know out there that can be in do me and no one that can be and do what others are here that have a unique blend of talents and, and gifts to share with this world and wisdom and knowledge and experiences that I just want to encourage anyone listening who is just starting out to realize that that calling it’s a calling. It’s not just a nice to have and it’s going to keep you up at night. So do what you need. do to get out there, start sharing reach out to someone say, Hey, I’m starting this business, I’m really interested in sharing my message. And you know, what I also started doing was speaking, I spoke at local coffee shops, I spoke at the local community center, I was invited to speak at a schools, I actually spoke at my children’s classrooms. So I was at a state and this is my invitation to anyone else, you know, tap into the passion, because that’s the other thing, I gotta say, as an entrepreneur, you’ve got to tap into that passion, because there will be dark days. And you need to have the passion to help keep the light on inside of you, when maybe the rest of the world doesn’t realize how amazing you are. But by the way, I’m gonna sit here and remind you how amazing you are, I will always and I’m going to put that out there too. If anyone listening ever forgets how amazing you are, please reach out to me, I will absolutely say, You are awesome, keep moving forward, move through the challenges, you will grow through it, it’s worth every bit of it. That’s the not joy. That is the contrast to your true joy, light, and keep moving forward. Because every challenge that we face, especially as entrepreneurs, but in any area of our life, is an opportunity to grow and expand and just become a better version of ourselves through. And so as far as early on starting my business, I would share anywhere that anyone would listen, guys, those

26:33

were very good tips that Jen just shared. When you first start your business, you got to do everything you can to get your word out. Of course, firstly, you have to convince yourself that this is what you’re going to commit to and make sure that everyone knows it. And of course, don’t be afraid to offer to help your friends and family for free. If this gives you the chance to practice your skill sets to get better so that when it comes to a real paying client, you know you have your foundations covered. So start putting yourself out there, start speaking at events, get to know people and get people to know you Before long, I promise you you’ll start finding your clients organically. And that’s how you get the ball started. Now Jen, can you share a verse after you’ve established a relationship with a new client? What is the process from the start to the end of your engagement with decline? And more importantly, how do you know that is the job well done?

27:14

Well, you know, obviously, what is the ultimate outcome for working with me to receive joy? I mean, ultimately, people are my clients have found, you know, they’re just more satisfied within themselves. And they’re more available to life opportunities, business opportunities. I mean, I just had a client, just this week that reached out to me, and we had just concluded one of my I have 100 day group coaching program that I teach called fueled by my joy. In literally the day the program close, she received all these new clients in this new business venture that she’s building. And she was like, Oh, my gosh, and I was like, in perfect time. So, you know, what ultimately comes out is different for everybody. And you know what I also always, especially in coaching, I find people set out with a certain intention. But part of how I teach intentions is this or something even better. Because what we think might be the best outcome that we’re seeking inside of a growth opportunity may ultimately not be the outcome. But to lean in and trust that something even better gets to come. So from start to finish with my clients, sometimes it’s almost always mind blowing, but it’s sometimes subtle. And sometimes it’s a drastic change, like some clients have changed house, left and unhealthy relationship inspired their children to do their own journaling. I mean, all sorts of cool things, started businesses, closed businesses, and businesses and retired. I mean, I’ve seen such a slew of shifts and pivots, and transformations inside of my business. But ultimately, every single one of these clients is moving into a better version of themselves, a more truer, joyful, life wind version of themselves.

29:15

Now, Jane, from your years of experience, teaching and coaching, what do you think is the number one issue that entrepreneurs tend to face that is holding them back?

29:22

Number one, hands down? super honest, easy question to answer is self trust. Can I really trust myself to show up and do the work which for me, it’s play, right, but to show up and to be available to the transformation and really quickly behind trustus worthiness? Am I really worth changing? Do I you know, do I really deserve to have this better life that I desire for myself? Why? Who am I to get to have this better life? And so, right away We do address these these thoughts, which is all they are our thoughts. But we address these thoughts with some compassion in realizing, well, yeah, you’ve never gone where you were going to go. So I get that there’s some doubt and lack of trust and wondering if you can show up and do your part. But starting with just looking at the possibility of even if, if we don’t have the big vision come forward, what if we just start incrementally and the invitation is to start with baby steps, let’s just start and just move a little bit further on the path and start to lean in and like ease into the water and not jump right in. Although I have to say I do have some clients that are like, jump right ahead, let’s just go. Because they’re also at a point that the honest truth is those clients who are ready to jump in, have done their own trust and worthiness work before they’ve caught up to me. But some of these clients, some of this show the way someone to lean on and just to realize you’re in this together, you are not alone, that and the biggest thing, you’re not crazy, you’re not crazy to actually want more for yourself and your family, in your community, in your business. in your life. It’s you know, there’s different cultures, you know, there’s a lot of messaging that can come sideways from the media, or from even families, like, kind of Who are you to go and grow and be something more. And then I love you know, there’s a Marianne Williamson, Williamson quote, about, like, Who are you not to, and so that’s where I also come from, when I I’m there to encourage my clients, especially early on, or midway through the journey, you know, there, there’s mid journey slumps, too, and to call them up and out and remind them like, hang on, this gets to be about you, but it’s actually about more than you. Because when you become more, you’re organically inviting others to become more, you’re organically inviting others to explore and become an allow themselves to be that better version of themselves so that they are living their best life and that they do get the end of this life with no regrets,

32:28

you know, agenda. So true. You know, we all have our slumps. Entrepreneurship is long is hard is lonely. We all have those slumps. But you know, it’s really important to remember the purpose for why we started in the first place, and understand that it is a journey at the end of day, and we have to grow to get there, we’re not expected to be that person that we want to be right now, we need to put in the hard work to get where we want to be. At the end of the day, I’m sure we all want to have a life where we have no regrets. So just do your best. And I’m sure you get there. Just don’t forget that you can always reach out to your friends and families for support. Jen, I noticed a huge part of you that loves the great outdoors. But what I really want to know is how this aspect of you has shaped the way that you think and react as a business owner and leader

33:10

fires a great question. And absolutely, look, I’m a huge advocate of the great outdoors. And to be honest, it is one of the fastest way to tap into that piece of energy. I mean mental health and you spoke to that before and I want to elaborate and speak to that actually on right now inside of this question because nature is healing, nourishing, and it is outside when I’m moving when I’m engaging when I’m playing. And I do I’m a big adventure junkie if you will, but I and I met my husband skiing, right so but I love being in the great outdoors moving, engaging, experiencing that. And that’s where I’m tuning into creativity. That’s where I’m tuning into excitement and I’m tuning into bigger visions. I mean, I live in the mountains and you know, I go to the top of the mountain and I look at the big view and and I’m always an advocate for bringing that in. What does that mean for my business today? Or what does that mean for my family vision today even and so for me Yes, the outdoors is so much a part of me like you it’ll be very rare sight if you ever see me in a gym because I just so believe in movement outside but there’s there’s the combination of movement and nature. But then, you know, paralleling it back and weaving it back to the entrepreneurial journey. There is no straight paved path. And that’s part of what I love about being in the great outdoors. Like I hike a lot here and we you know, I paddle on the river and you know, I’m always moving in different ways, but no two experiences when I go outside are going to be the same in the same in the entrepreneurial journey. I don’t care how beautifully kept out and created systems and structures that you have inside of your business. If there is no business as usual, that’s actually one of the first things I teach inside of my fueled by my joy program. So being out in nature, there’s this beautiful constant reminder that like, the tree is not perfectly formed. It’s beautifully formed in perfectly. And like, the fact that the tree doesn’t decide today, I’m done growing like we, as human beings, we’re still walking this planet, like there’s still learn more to learn and grow. And, you know, I do believe I’m at a level of mastery. And yet my mastery gets refined and expanded, just like you know, as mentioning the Olympics earlier, top athletes are always looking to reach for the next level. And being out in nature reminds me of that. But it also reminds me to, and especially here, I very viscerally have the seasons, you know, there are seasons and times of year, there’s times in the trees are bare, naked, but there’s still life inside of them. And the same thing happens inside of an entrepreneurial journey is, you know, there’s seasons and years, there’s times when it seems kind of slow moving, but then all of a sudden, you know, spring comes and there’s leaves, and, and, and it’s like, where did these come from? The blossoms and fruit and all of a sudden, you’re like, wow, you know, so, it is a combination of being outside, but also, you know, so believe in and living, what I call like a full body life like we are in this life experience. And we might as well have it in a full body experience. And, and I ultimately call it the full body experiment. I mean, it’s why I do a mindful ski camp in partnership with Jackson Hole mountain resorts. And I’m in the process of creating other retreat experiences, surfing and sailing, you know, and years to come. Because I just believe getting people out and getting to experience who they are in these different environments, gets to guide us and realize how things are constantly changing. And use, you mentioned mindfulness, you know, I teach to mindful joy, which is present moment, awareness. And again, nothing stagnant outside in nature, but nothing stagnant inside of you or me, things are constantly changing and evolving, and, and moving. And so, like I just so inspired to remind everyone listening that like, as you’re building your business, you know, you have a trajectory, but the path to get there is going to be a windy road, it’s you’re going to be blazing your trail. But that’s also the beauty of it. And that’s why we signed up for entrepreneurship, because we wanted to experience the adventure, and the creative process, and the wonder of what’s around the next corner. And wow, I did that moments. And wow, I really messed that up moments. And then we get developed forward to Wow, I did that. And I came forward and in all of these things. But yeah, I am a huge outdoor enthusiast, because I just appreciate how it’s just so reflective of really like the true nature

38:10

yogen I really love how you connected these dots and how he has shaped the way that you think. So Jen, if there’s only one thing that the listeners need to remember today, what would you like it to be?

38:19

It’s really simple. But it goes back to my experience in the hospital with my son. That morning when through my devastation, I could have Froot Loops. So my invitation to everyone listening is what I call your fruit loop moment look for it, because it’s something a little spark of joy, that it might be the smile from someone in the subway, or might be seeing a bird outside your window. Or it might be you know, walking along a dirt path and feeling the earth it could be very simple or subtle, or it could be watching a funny YouTube video or something. But look for the fruit loop moment. And then notice the burst of joy energy you get on the other side. And then see how much the world starts to open up for you and the ideas and creativity and, and the energy of possibility starts to flow to you. So look for the Froot loop moments. That’s my greatest piece of advice.

39:16

So as Jenna shared on your Froot Loops moments, guys, always remember that your mental state and well being is as important as your physical well being when it comes to achieving the goals that you’ve set out to do. 2. Find your fruit loop moments in life. It is important to take time out every day to do something that makes you happy as this will help put in the right state of mind to do your best work and be your best self.
